PROTECTAB HP-2 (TRANSPARENT) is a complete Film Coating Premix based on Hydroxy Propyl Methyl Cellulose. PROTECTAB HP-2 (TRANSPARENT) gives a transparent film at 1 - 2% weight gain.

Uses and Advantages of PROTECTAB HP-2 (TRANSPARENT)

When retaining the original look of the core tablet is required even after film coating, PROTECTAB HP-2 (TRANSPARENT) can be used.

PROTECTAB HP-2 (TRANSPARENT) gives sufficient taste masking at 1-2% weight gain at the same time maintaining the natural look of the core tablet.

For Ayurvedic tablets where there is powder formation from the surface of tablets during packing and transport, a 1% to 2% coat with PROTECTAB HP-2 (TRANSPARENT) will arrest the powder formation and improve compliance.
