PROTECTAB HP-2

PROTECTAB HP-2 is a complete Film Coating Premix based on Hydroxy Propyl Methyl Cellulose. PROTECTAB HP-2 contains higher percentage of polymer when compared to PROTECTAB HP-1. This will be useful when high film strength is required in a 2 to 3% coating. PROTECTAB HP-2 Series is available as Aqueous Solvent Based System, Organic Solvent Based System and Hydro Alcoholic solvent based System.

Uses and Advantages of PROTECTAB HP-2

When compared to regular Film Coating Premixes PROTECTAB HP-2 gives a film of higher strength and density and therefore increases stability of your products.

Where PROTECTAB HP-2 can be used

Products which have the tendency to swell and crack during storage, or needs a greater film strength, can be coated with PROTECTAB HP-2. A 3% coating with PROTECTAB HP-2 will almost be equal to a 4 to 5% coating with regular film coating material.
